"Deciding to build a house in mid 2020 could have made us a little apprehensive but we need not have worried. We selected Proliving after researching a number of builders in the South West and have never regretted our choice.
We had a good idea of what we wanted to achieve and Anthony and his team guided us through the process of designing and building our home. Their knowledge and experience improved our concept and enabled the creation and completion of a home that we love, where we can relax and unwind.
Communication throughout the process was excellent. Anthony is very approachable and all our queries were responded to quickly by email. If we were worried or unhappy with anything, a phone conversation would easily resolve this. Monthly invoices kept us on track of our budgeting and expenditure and our small number of variations were detailed and fairly costed.
The Proliving team of tradies were aware of the quality required and worked to a very high standard. They showed excellent attention to detail and as a client who works in a profession with a high level of precision, it was satisfying to see the build as it evolved.
The build went very smoothly, there were a few delays with supplies due to covid but the Proliving team managed the build well. If we were building another house, we would definitely use ProLiving again."

'Artisans' are exceedingly rare, especially when time is short, resources are scarce and quality so easily and often sacrificed. But not this Team! "When residing in London we decided to build a house in Busselton (2019), I first looked online for South West WA builders and discovered ProLiving, what drew me to them was the quality of builds and their innovative award-winning designs.
On my first contact with Anthony Waugh – owner, director via telephone from the UK I found him to be friendly, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. After a couple of telephone conversations with Anthony we decided to travel to Australia to view our block of land and make the decision on whether we would have ProLiving build our house.
Our first encounter, meeting we had in Busselton with Anthony and Kelly the House Designer filled us with confidence that ProLiving were capable and would build the house we required whilst still residing in the UK. The initial plans, drawings were provided to us a few days later in which we were very pleased with, like any initial draft revisions were made and we started the process of building with ProLiving.
What proceeded over the following 15 months was Anthony and the ProLiving staff that were always available with multiple telephone conversations, emails, messenger calls and the occasional video walk through, the build proceeded with a few minor hitches, I would say virtually none.
Travelling from Perth to Busselton, the 23rd November 2020 was an exciting day for us as this was the first time we had seen the house in person, the experience was a little overwhelming as there was so much to take in. The house was fantastic and exceeded our exceptions.
We are both extremely happy with the house and it’s a pleasure to live in, a big thank you goes out to Anthony, Ann, Kelly and all the tradies for their high level of workmanship that has made our house what we expected.
Our circumstances were not the norm and ProLiving were exceptional in their crafting of our house, we would definitely recommend them to anybody who is thinking of building a bespoke custom house, they delivered beyond and above to the highest levels.
Recently in the respected building industry HIA Awards of 2021 the house won ‘Best Innovative & Lightweight Construction’ and was a Finalist for the ‘Best Custom Build’ in its price category for the South West region of Western Australia."

Initial support was provided in selection and purchase of a suitable block, followed by a comprehensive design process, material and finishes selection which met and exceeded all our criteria.
The benefit of locking in all these elements prior to commencement of construction enabled us to negotiate a firm lump sum price at the outset, which would not be subject to variations and enabled a realistic timetable to be established.
The build went to plan and we must thank Anthony and his team for providing a very professional service in delivering our dream home. We are now looking forward to spending our retirement here."

"We engaged ProLiving to Design & Build our home in 2014.
Our brief was to have a home designed and built with maximum coverage of the lot providing 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, open plan living plus a separate Theatre Room with excellent natural light and ventilation qualities.
Our blocks living areas are South Facing to the Canals in Port Geographe, this was going to be a challenge to provide adequate natural light, but ProLiving delivered a design that provided all this and more, a spacious feel to the South Facing Living Areas with a raked ceiling to the North and highlight windows, the amount of both light and ventilation was perfect!
The Parent’s wing was private and spacious with views to the canals and its own private courtyard.
All in all, ProLiving provided a high-quality finish with excellent communication throughout the whole process, I would recommend anyone intending to build to consider ProLiving."

"Anthony, at ProLiving has recently completed our home in Port Geographe. As the build was some 300 km distant good communication was important to us, As promised Anthony responded quickly to email inquiry & sent photos of completed stages or rooms beyond requests.
He was happy to respond to any account or build query or challenge without feeling affronted & always happy for us to visit or meet him on site. Invoices for completed stages were clear & precise as were build variations. As a sideline clients can save money by picturing moving through a home & thinking of all selections as you go as every change from the contract is more work for Anthony but this work was always carried out without complaint.
Despite Anthony being a modern design builder he accommodated our more conservative design with good suggestions that got us out of our comfort zone a little with a result that we & others believe looks great. The technical knowledge Anthony has regarding quality of products, insulation, heating, kitchen & bathroom fittings, lighting etc was impressive & always left you feeling comfortable with your choices.
The on the job tradies were friendly & made it clear Anthony would accept no less than a quality job. Being on site toward handover showed how Anthony was determined to get a quality finish above getting the job off his hands.
All in all we made the correct choice of builder as we have a quality home with no corners cut."

The lot had been in the family for 10+ years and following the decision to construct a holiday home, I canvassed a potential builder. The search took in excess of 6 months while I undertook appropriate research into local builders. I found Anthony to be very professional and transparent throughout the entire process, culminating with ProLiving being chosen as the local builder to construct our holiday home.
ProLiving provided valuable upfront design input to the architect while being mindful of our specific requirements. The design phase in obtaining Development Approval / Building License was overseen by Anthony, leading to very thorough documentation of our holiday home construction. At all times, he was punctual and respectful of our very personal design objectives. Anthony was very responsive to all my queries and provided wide-ranging selection choices and solutions to design issues.

"I retained Anthony under a 'Design and Construct' contract for a Development I completed at 71 Kent St Busselton. It involved refurbishing and conversion of an existing 'heritage listed' residential home to commercial offices. This allowed surrounding land to be utilised to construct 5 x new ground floor offices and 5 x first floor apartments. A FIRST FOR BUSSELTON!
Anthony had to work closely with the Architect / Surveyor and Town Planner plus the City of Busselton Heritage Officer in navigating through numerous planning and construction issues. He had to keep a number of third party stakeholders satisfied.
Given the boutique nature of this development, Anthony took great pride to introduce local elements to the development's finishes which were, ultimately, acknowledged by the third party stakeholders and contributed to its overall success.
My experience with Anthony was only positive with the communication between Builder / Client exacerbated by myself being located in Perth and complexity of issues which were transparent. With Anthony's assistance, no challenge was insurmountable, we just had to work through the 'road blocks'. I was also impressed with his retention of local suppliers / trades during the construction process which added a layer of local support to the development.
I understand Anthony has completed other commercial developments within Busselton while not his core business, I have no hesitation in recommending Anthony as a local Builder of varying asset classes."
